RPM Special Controller Mount Black for TRX Slash 2WD and 4x4 is an essential upgrade for your RC car setup. This optional RPM Traxxas Sidewinder 3/SCT ESC Cage is specifically designed to provide a perfect fit for the Castle Sidewinder 3 and Sidewinder SCT ESCs. It seamlessly integrates into the stock ESC location on various Traxxas models, including:

• Traxxas Slash 2WD
• Traxxas Slash 2WD LCG
• Traxxas Slash 4x4
• Traxxas Slash 4x4 LCG
• Traxxas Stampede 4x4
• Traxxas Rally

Additionally, this ESC cage is compatible with other Traxxas 1/10th scale vehicles, although it requires the use of the TRX3725 Mounting Plate for proper installation.

The RPM Sidewinder cage is ingeniously designed to encase the ESC body, featuring air channels along the sides to promote airflow. This design helps maintain optimal temperatures, ensuring that your ESC remains cool during intense racing sessions. You can even operate the ESC without the fan if you prefer.

Installation and maintenance have never been easier. The entire assembly is secured to the chassis with just two screws, eliminating the hassle of dealing with sticky double-sided tape. You can transfer the entire setup from one vehicle to another in approximately one minute, making it a breeze to clean your vehicle or swap electronics.

For added convenience, a separate on/off switch mount is included, which can be bolted to the cage in one of four orientations for maximum versatility. Since the switch is attached to the cage, there's no need to remove it during maintenance or when transferring the ESC between vehicles. Alternatively, you can mount the switch wherever you like by simply drilling and tapping two 2mm holes.

Each RPM ESC Cage is constructed from a robust blend of engineering-grade nylons, ensuring a lifetime of reliable performance. Available in both blue and black, each cage is backed by RPM's limited lifetime manufacturer warranty against breakage.

Note: The RPM ESC Cage for the Sidewinder 3 & Sidewinder SCT series is compatible with the following models: 010-0115-00, 010-0115-01, 010-0115-02, 010-0115-03, 010-0115-04 & 010-0123-00. It has been rigorously tested and guaranteed to fit the aforementioned Traxxas vehicles in their stock form, including the Rustler, Stampede 2WD, and Bandit, provided the TRX3725 Mounting Plate is utilized.
